The fields sprawl out as far as the eye can see. The sun is setting but the work is far from over. Broken fences need to be tended too, ditches are needing to be dug. But more pressingly, it’s harvest season, and some crops remain in the land. Once the light is lost, the work will cease and any hope of appeassing the Lord will be dashed, unless a succesful harvest can be decreed. The sweat drips from the temple and the skin is red in the heat, but nighttime approaches fast, this is no time to rest.
Northern Parasol’s Nightshift residency has returned for 2025 and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be back at Eagle Inn, without doubt one of the best grassroots venues in the city!
Your headliners for this one are Serfs. This four-piece began as a lockdown project and has since become a constantly evolving creative force. Creating music to Serfs is a way of creating sonic collages & sketches, with improvisation and exploration as the key ingredient. They are joined by the alt-pop duo Zdenka & the ethereal indie of Rae Charlea.
Northern Parasol’s Nightshift residency will take place (nearly) every Wednesday at Eagle Inn, showcasing the best emerging talent Manchester & beyond has to offer. Tickets start at just £5. These shows are not to be missed!
