Rising from the Manchester scene and bearing the influence of artists such as Muse, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, and Smashing Pumpkins, Sietch are set on bringing their eclectic discography and raw energy to live shows and studio
releases. Sietch began when Miles Dopson (vocals, bass), Will Nebreda (guitar, backing vocals) and Tom Swirles (drums) combined their love of alternative music to explore the sound and vision that directly reflects themselves.
Sietch engage all emotions, all the time. Whether expressing deep contempt and sadness through the most subtle of melodies, falling through hard-hitting grunge choruses or unleashing the glang and horror of metal inspired riffs – duality is an idea inherent in their music.
Art and expression are placed above all when it comes to Sietch’s performance and craft; they believe music should be written from a place of genuine authenticity and love. Their lyrics consist of topics such as the issues of modern media, spiritual struggles, and other personal experiences.
